Calling all/any bikers

Any bikers on here? Fancy a ride/meet up sometime. Don't care what you ride as long as it goes!!!

I'm still in the UK but would love toget a low down of what people ride, what gear they wear and the cost of riding and gear etc...
I ride enduro but also have usually a sports tourer and ride when I can.

I aim to ride to work when I move

From what I imagine........

Bikes are mostly harley as roads are straight and flat and gear work is jeans and open face helmet but a joe rocket type jacket to let air in.
Coppers are all over and will nick you for speeding and off road is usually out of town on un road registered bikes where you need a truck or trailer to get the bike to the area your riding. Are there many clubs and meet ups etc...?

However much i asumed here and would like some input.

final question is it best to import a bike and if so what? classic? cruiser or BMWGS1200 type

my hubbie and i are keen bikers alas still in uk for now but soon as we are shipped and settled a deffo yes from us we are not shipping our bike over cost to much so we are selling all vehicles and purchasing new on arrival :o) hopefully a zx1400 :o)

Have just sold my VFR in UK and we are heading out in a couple of weeks. Hence it will be a while before I get another bike. Please keep me posted!

Yes there are alot of Harley's and choppers but alot of street bikes as well. THere's not many coppers about to nick you, and speed camera locations are broadcast on the radio and posted on the forum below! Import whatever bike you like, probably cheaper to buy in the u.k. but I have no idea about shipping costs!

If you import a bike you have had to have owned it for 12 months in the uk

Sounds good, I'm free most weekends! In fact juat off out now as the weather has finally cooled down enough to be pleaseant for ridding!

Where abouts are you in Perth?

Good possibility will be heading out to Toodyay Sunday morning to Coke-a-cola cafe for Brekky if your interested?
