Hey all,

Does a Poms Netball Team exist already....or do any ladies or men (Perth has lots of mixed teams) fancy setting one up to play in one of the social leagues in Perth/sorrounding area?

I'm thinking of a social team so it doesn't matter if you haven't played since school etc etc ....its more about having a laugh, making friends, and possibly a trip to the pub, races, meal out etc etc every so often......

So is anyone game?

hey,this sounds great i was only thinking about a netball team the other day ! im moving to perth end of feb and really want to make new friends and netball is such a great game..havnt played since school(12 yrs ago) but im sure i can remember..did u say they start the winter one in marchif so im deffo up for this. ill be 6 miles north of perth city but mount lawley wud be great..

I have just arrived in Perth and am living in East Fremantle. I have only played netball for a year so am still pretty bad but would love to join a friendly sociable team to play in nearby areas so please keep me posted.

Michelle I'm over 40 too!! 6,20 tomorrow at Warnbro Y Okehampton Road, Warnbro, if you're interested, and anyone else. light blue top dark shorts/leggings, we're called Angels - I'm the tall one lol If we have more than a team everyone will get a go we sit off quarters, but we normally only just scrape a team together.

Hiya,

If there is still a plan to set up a netball team of some sort then definitely count me in! We're living in South Perth, but don't have a car unfortunately, so anywhere close to here or bus or train routes would be no problem at all for me.
