Poms "Social" Netball Team...anyone fancy it?????

Hey all,

Does a Poms Netball Team exist already....or do any ladies or men (Perth has lots of mixed teams) fancy setting one up to play in one of the social leagues in Perth/sorrounding area?

I'm thinking of a social team so it doesn't matter if you haven't played since school etc etc ....its more about having a laugh, making friends, and possibly a trip to the pub, races, meal out etc etc every so often......

So is anyone game?

whats the age limit........ie is it for adults or are children/teens involved ......?

I was thinking 16 years up as i think they can play in the senior league. ...But if there is enough interest I'm sure sure a kids / junior league can be found too.

I'm 40 been playing in local competitive league in uk until this year would be up for playing my fitness needs work at the mo (since starting emigration process everything kind or went on hold!!!)

Hey ladies!
Great to see some interest in getting something set up....thinks it's nice to have a mixture of experience too as it's always nice to get some hints and tips along the way from different players.

From what I have found out lots of the sports centers here seem to have social leagues which you can join as a team, so where are people living?

I'm in Maylands/Mount Lawley area and I know that there is a league starting here in the new year, but obviously that might not be suitable for everyone with travel etc etc. I can travel to most places so lets try to find something suitable for everyone.

Getting quite excited now about the prospect of meeting some new people and playing some sport (although it's been so hot today I think I might melt if I try to run anywhere!!)

I'm 28 and living in the Mount Hawthorn area, been in Perth for a few years now. Always up for meeting new people and netball sounds like a good new years resolution to me.

Popped into arena joondalup today they hold netball competitions wed night and fri mornings think they are friendly you just need to enter team. Can get details if you like? I'll ask how much for training too
