Any fifo mums or any newbies sor looking for new friends ?

Any social groups gathering in Lesmurdie / Kalamunda. Recently married and Aussie & No kids also doing volunteer work locally with animals but needing more. Got to get out from these 4 walls and find some new friends. Gym when I can. Husband works til 7pm. Just a little homesick I guess. need boredom escaping ideas and company.

Hi Jo, we are not one of the FIFO families but my hubby does work for Downer Edi, more on the road construction side of things, they seem to be a pretty big company over here and have been fine up to now, but still early days for us, only been here since the end of October.
Baldivis and Secret Harbour are pretty close to each other, but I'd say whilst your two are only little you may prefer Secret Harbour with the beach being here. We've met some lovely people using this forum and also Perth Pommy Princesses and use the golf club regularly on a Friday night as it's family night and the food is good there.

When are you due to come over, have you got a date yet?

Nice to hear from some whose huby works for same company. We're not to fussed about the beach to be honest, but am wanting a nice area, where easy to meet people, groups and stuff like that if u get what i mean. i am hating the thought of being bored esp if hubby gona be away and stuff! No havent got any dates yet, we are apparently waiting to find out what migration service they are using? i have left it to hubby to sort out? Have u got children? How long did your visas take?
