new friends in Waikiki rockingham

hello, i have been in Rockingham for 6 months now, and even though i have made some lovely friends, I would love to widen my social circle. I have 3 children, 10, 12 and 16, and i am 38 years old. My husband is in the Navy. I love swimming and would love to be able to get back into yoga again. I actually dont work anymore , lady of leisure lol, but I do enjoy socialising with coffee during the day, and a glass of wine in the evening. originally I am from Plymouth down in Devon. Not sure what else to say really, never had to ask for friends before, but if you would like to get in touch, would be great to hear from you :)

hi, We are hoping to move to perth in august. we have 4 children aged 8,10,12 and nearly 15. I am a yoga teacher so maybe we could get to do some yoga together . im currently looking into schools, i don't intend to work but hope to teach a few classes once settled. trying to research areas and schools for now which is hard. Im from Ireland. would love to know how you are getting on and how your children have adjusted. Annie

Hi Annie. thanks for answering. Perth is lovely, I am sure you will love it. I live in Rockingham, about 40 mins drive from Perth itself, but I am happy here. As I have only been in WA for 6 months, I dont really know WA that well to comment on other areas,so my help there is no use. What area of perth are you looking at? My children have settled in so well. My eldest has a part time job, as children can work from 14 yrs and 9 months, and attends kolbe catholic college. We pay around 4-5 thousand dollars a year for that,but she is happy, and my youngest two, well, they said they would never go back to the Uk. They go surfing every weekend, and are always out and about.

anyway, not sure what else to write, but stay in touch, and if I can help in anyway with your big move..just ask :)

We have just moved to Rockingham, I say just, 4 days ago. I am 42, married, 2 boys aged 18 and 14 and am looking for friends. My husband is hoping to get a chef's job and I am looking for PA work. It would be great to meet up if you fancy it, we are renting here for 3 months. Let me know - I also enjoy coffee in the day and wine in the evening especially as my husband will probably have to work evenings and is looking at doing FIFO aswell.
