  1. Hi all not been on here for a while. I came out to Perth but as I had to commit to 12 mths rental for schools and 1 child in UK not wanting to leave and one in Perth wanting to return I had to return. I had a job set up at Hollywood should have started 4 th may. Had to let them down to keep family together! Gutted gutted gutted!!!!! Returned and been sad since. My kids are 17, 15 and 14 the 14 yr old wanted to stay so much. My brother gets married in August and I'm bridesmaid. So I always had to return for that. Just wished things would have worked out. All that work to get there!! Hollywood said they will re recruit if kids change minds. I would love to try again and I'm 40 now so I'm hoping they will see sense and get out of Wigan. I never presented to ahpra in person and it runs out February hope it's still valid. Also my Nmc runs out sept and I'm newly qualified and not started nursing as was waiting to do preceptorship in Perth. Would I have to have Nmc registration of I have ahpra registration? Not sure if to get job here nursing or stay bank HCA and hope they will go in August after wedding. Don't want my dream to end [emoji17] xx

  3. Hi MrsKelly, We here !!!!! We flew out 13 th April myself and 2 daughters. Dad stayed behind with my son as he didn't want to come out yet!! We are staying in the rendezvous beach Scarborough and are looking for a rental for 3 mths as we have to come back for family wedding. If my son still doesn't want to go we will have to rethink. Love this place, first day I was upset thinking I'll stay a week then go back but the morning after opening the curtains to the sunrise and Scarborough beach wow !!! I start work 4 th May. Hope everything goes ok for you best of luck and safe flight xxxx
  4. Hi hi that's were my job offer is but the mental health part. Well done!! I was interviewed my clinical manager and a nurse. They were very informal and asked me 3 scenarios but gave me lots of time to answer and made me feel at ease. youll be fine it's more of a personality interview. 😉 xx
  5. Since my last post.. My plans have changed minute to minute. I was going letting my son stay with grandparents. Then last night I had a massive panic attack thinking of leaving my son in the uk. This went on for over 1 hr. I exhausted my self to sleep. Woke up looked out of the window and dread fell upon me. I explained to my girls this move is making me ill and I can't leave a child in the uk. My girls were distraught so the plan changed again. Dad said he would stay in uk keep the house open till I come home for a family wedding in July. I could try my job for the 3 mth probation period. And it will give me time to see if myself and daughters like it. After the wedding return to Perth or stay in the uk. So at present that's the plan but could change again tomorrow [emoji6] xx
  6. Well done xxxx
  7. Aww Michelle, that's so sad did you start the journey together or was you always wanting different things? Seems like we all in the same boat one day it floats happily next it sinks to the bottom. If we get through this we are strong enough to take on anything!! Up to now I am considering leaving my son temporary until July when I return for my brothers wedding. If he doesn't want to go then he can fly out with my cousin in November. He will stay with my mum and dad which will make it easier for them. I was considering calling the whole move off but my girls were distraught and 5 years I've planned for this.... So see what the next few days hold and hopefully he will say I want to come too and we can continue this journey together [emoji6]. I hope things get easier for you xx Me too MrsKelly x
  8. What a day!! Visas granted went out shopping with OH and kids to celebrate and my 15 yr old son says he wants stay in UK with nan and grandad boom!!!! From being top of the world to bottom in one sentence. I've given him time to think but if he really doesn't want this then I can't leave him in UK [emoji15] x
  9. Hi yes I had my medical few moths ago so that had been cleared and submitted. Good luck with yours it doesn't take long to be cleared xx
  10. MrsKelly, I've got my visa granted!!! I only submitted it Monday wow so quick!! Hope you get yours soon xx
  11. Have you booked flights? What about accommodation have you got that sorted. I've been looking at flight and hotel for 5 for 2 weeks with return flight end July for my brothers wedding £5000 for all. Not sure if all coming back for it but I'm bridesmaid. Make that bit of leaving easier for me just say see you in s couple of months! I feel much better now the decision is made!! Was looking at booking but what happens if visa not ready what do you do?? There's one thing about this move If we survive this then we can survive anything got to be the hardest thing to do ever!! xx
  12. The visa is lodged.!! Hope the wine did the trick MrsKelly... I put the 19/04 as a rough guess I just wanted get it done before I wobble again. What a weekend, my head was all over the place. One minute I was fine all excited then I came crashing down thinking of moving to the other side of the WORLD!!. Omg scary stuff!! I visited last year not sure how I'd feel if never been before your so brave MrsKelly! What time you flying out may be on same flight just incase I need a nurse after I suffer a panic attack or worse. Dreading that day saying goodbye Thanks JenPen hope you application is progressing well and your enjoying the roller coaster ride too! That's how another PP described it and she was right........ up..... down......up.... Down.... loop the loop.. xx
  13. MrsKelly, after pondering over the lodging of the visa over the weekend, I took your advice and submitted today!!! All my documents have been attached just stuck on health care bit. As we have not booked flights etc how do I know what date to put start from or do i just take a guess at mid April. What have you done? xx
  14. Hi all, I received my confirmation of sponsorship yesterday and I can now lodge my visa. As I've waited so long you would have thought I would have had it done and dusted. Well I filled in all the boxes, ready to submit but wanted to check with my children they were definitely up for this. I delayed it till earlier today went back on and filed in the payment section. The submit button was staring at me but I couldn't press it.. Think I was wobbling again. My daughter came and said I'll press it mum! She submitted the payment. The next screen said an error has occurred. The card we was using was a maestro and not allowed. My OH bank would not transfer money into my bank due to a mount. So yet again delayed till we transfer money into my account after my night shift and sleep. So let's hope I'm a bit braver today!! I'm a laid back person but this has to be the most stressful time ever! [emoji15]
  15. I received AHPRA in principle letter and emailed the hospital on the 5th feb. I was hoping they would do the nomination within the next days so I could lodge my visa. However they said as AHPRA took so long they had to re do a document new Labour Means Marketing Test proving why I were successful in the position over the local applicants. They said they would be in touch when this is done by email. This was 19th February. I have not heard anything since so I emailed today hoping for an update tomorrow or so. The longer this is taking the harder it is I have had lots of mini wobbles and doubtful times. I went to see a psychic she told me to take the leap of faith as this is something I have put a lot into. I didn't tell her about the move but all the cards she read were regarding this. I'm hoping to go after Easter if visa sorted as I need to start nursing. I'm still doing hca on the bank!! When you expecting to fly out about the same time. Il be flying from Manchester x
