  1. dont forget to check the car seats too as australian rules are different to UK, the seats usually have to have a tether on the back in Oz.

    Great News

Hi guys, Its been a while since i have been on here as we have been mega busy but just thought i would give a quick update. My wife (Main applicant) now has her AHPRA registration in full Anmac skills assessment complete and we are just waiting until October when she has 5 years experience for the extra points. (will be total of 60) And to top it off i have just received my results and will be graduating from University in September with a masters MEng - Mechanical Engineering - Distinction. I did consider doing a skills assessment for extra 5 points but by the time this comes through we will be in October anyway and can save the cost to put against medicals etc. So roll on October would love to have visas in place by February as we plan on visiting again at that time. Do people use tumble dryers in Perth?!

We stay with family when visiting and use the tumble dryer for smalls etc.
  4. I too am due to graduate as an engineer in the UK this may and looking for graduate opportunities in Perth, My research so far has pointed out two opportunities: 1) apply for graduate engineer positions as advertised on sites such as seek.com or grad connection 2) apply for junior engineering positions even if they don't mention about recent graduates as some companies will take a graduate on but not necessarily offer an established graduate program towards charter-ship (usually the smaller companies) Remember that graduate ships are generally available only during the first two years of graduating and there is a lot of competition for such roles as Australia turns out its own fair share of graduates. The economy only really took its main down turn in perth in the last two years and as such we are still seeking large number s of graduates who started their education in the two years before the mining downturn, as such there is a tendency for supply to outstrip demand. It is not normal to require work experience with a mentor to complete an academic engineering qualification so I'm unsure what your requirements are but if i can help i will after all as engineers we are problem solvers thats just what we do.

    shipping mountain bike costs?

When we travelled to USA a couple of years ago, my friend took his bike expecting to pay a fair bit extra but was told he could take an additional 45kg as sports equipment, so he did. On way back he put lots of cloths etc in with it he bought out there and had no problems.

    Best rugby (union) schools

I'm glad you have asked this. My lad is mad on rugby, playing for school and the town teams. He would be gutted if there isn't much when we get there.
