  1. Hi all, I have been in Perth (Freo) for 7 weeks now and love the place! I have asked questions on here before and got a lot of feedback, so I wanted to ask, are currently renting in Perth or are a landlord with property anywhere? If so please could you spend a couple of minutes filling out this survey? Click here for the survey Its to help with a course I am doing in Perth to help advance my career. Thanks in advance! Aidy
  2. Hi Alex, Just give me a shout when your girlfriend is back and we will meet up. Aidy
  3. Yeah that sounds good, just let me know when you're back.
  4. Shorts and t-shirt today and going to the beach tomorrow (just come from highs of 9 in Manchester)... I for one am not looking forward to next year when I feel cold at 24 degrees!
  5. Hi all,After weeks of packing, months of planning and years of talking we have finally arrived!!! Anyone fancy a couple of beers in the Fremantle area? My wife and I are early 30's, no kids and crazy dog lovers (this is starting to feel like a "lonely hearts" now). We just want to meet a few like minded people and see if we can make some new friends. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers,Aidy
  6. Cheers Rob, we're going to Fremantel so I was expecting to have to drive somewhere for a decent ride. kalamunda looks pretty decent, what are the runs like are reds comparable to the UK? Obviously I don't know anywhere to ride so was joining a club to get to know some good routes, and for a few beers afterwards of course. Thanks for the info! also do you miss the mud?
  7. has anyone tried kite surfing? are there any schools/learning centres for it? I have also always fancied hand-gliding but we never get the weather for it in the UK, anyone tried it in Oz? if so can you recommend a place where I can try it and do you know costs to get my license? ta
  8. Hi, My wife and I are moving to Perth in April, while Sam (my wife) is busy sorting things out like the house, the car, pretty much everything. I have given myself the task of getting important things sorted, like finding good mountain biking and road riding clubs. Is anyone a member of a club or can recommend one? I have had a "google" around and found a few but wanted to get a first hand opinion. Thanks, Aidy
