Just had confirmation that John masons are coming next thurs/friday. Our house completes 2nd April then move to mother in laws until we fly out 13/14th April (found few flights but not booked yet until house is definitely completed) People keep asking me how I feel, if I'm 'ready' and my answer is I don't feel anything yet really. Will this change? As the shipping co have to pack everything I feel like I can't do much. Do I need to be doing anything to make it easier? I feel like i should be doing something seen as though it's such a massive move ?? Any advice would be much appreciated xx

Thank you for all your replies, still non the wiser though lol and still undecided. I contacted petair yesterday who said they fly 100s dogs out every month the oz and they all seem to be ok as they see videos etc after. Only thing is I had truffles rabies jab done few month bk but with everything else I forgot to go bk for bloods so it will be 7 months before she can fly and we are planning to leave in April. she is also the month clingiest, timid, scared dog ever. Argh!! It's actually like having another baby which makes me think... I wouldn't leave them here lol xx

Ok so this is our situation .... We got a puppy cockerpoo Xmas 2013 and since had been my kiddies best friend and a lovely family dog. However, she is very nervous and timid and piddles when any male enters our house and hides. I really want to take her to oz with us but my hubby is saying it's not practical. He thinks she isn't emotionally stable to travel so long, meeting various ppl along the way and having to stay in quarantine in Sydney for ten days before being flew back to perth. He also doesn't think she can handle heat, we won't be able to get a rental, he will have to spend weekend at 'dog s***' beaches and when we travel around at weekend she will be stuck home. All valid points and his words not mine but it will break my heart. We have found a lovely family who really want her and are willing to take her out and get to know her before hand but I am so teary about it. Any advice on ppl who took their pets, left them in uk, what companies recommended and if it's possible to get rentals would be massively appreciated. Thanks Amii

John masons did the house quote in 15 mins but crown want to come this week and said could take upto 1.5 hours?? Lol. Masons cheaper too x

Hey Hun it's been a while since I've been on here. Any update on your visas? We got ours granted on Monday woop woop. Had house on market a week and had a lot of viewings so fingers crossed will sell soon and can book flights. We def should keep in touch. Are you on fb?x
