Hi CarrieandJoe, We didnt go down the AMNAC route as I had already applied for a visa based on my IT qualifications, I will say though that registering with AHPRA was a headache and a bit of a slow process so would recommend getting onto that as soon as you can

Hi CarrieandJoe, My Wife is also a children's nurse and we are heading out to Perth in May, although she is a community nurse she does also have some ward experience and at the moment looking as options for work, the new Perth children's hospital does look promising but also may be worth registering with some nursing agencies to begin with.

Hello My name is Jo and myself and hubby are moving from the UK early Jan, taking awhile to drive round then settling in perth wanneroo area in May. I'm a children'e community nurse and thats where the problem has started with regards to getting a job as I have not done much ward work of late, however my job is quite clinical. I've registered with a couple of agents but am also keen to get work in any paeds areas at all, Does anyone have any ideas. I'd be really grateful!!
