My mum made me feel guilty when we first moved out to Perth, so much so that we ended coming back because of her. So many phone calls telling me how much she missed the kids etc, it put a lot of pressure on us. I found that lots of family members and friends were quick to say they would visit, but when we were there suddenly no one had the money to visit and it became 'out of sight out of mind'. Still not stopping me going back for the 5th time next year!

Its OK, I have reread the website and I think I understand it better now, dont think she does need the theory and practical as I was getting 'recognised country' and 'experienced driver recognised country' muddled up. Think they could find a more clearer way of explaining it!

Hi Just wanted to ask, my daughter is 21 and is about to take driving test in the UK, I thought she would be able to do a swap of licence when we move to Perth end 2016, but it seems on the website that under 25s cant do this? I may be reading it wrong as I found the relevant website for WA driving licences confusing to say the least, but it seems she would have to take a theory and practical test in WA even if she had passed here. Has anyone found that? Was it expensive?

We will be coming with £5000, although I am lucky enough to be an Aus citizen so can claim relevant benefits to assist until a job is found. Came with less than that on previous trips, and my husband never had trouble finding work so not an issue previously, but am aware work might not be so abundant at this time.
