Hi mark, you would really need to be out here mate so as you can have an interview or if you can arrange Skype interview good luck. seek is good as is google search. are you coming on a pr visa then I take it, as some employers ask just to be sure your gona be around. been here 7 weeks mate and nearly pulled the plug closer to the time but ye just have to make the jump and you will get work if your not too fussy. theres an abundance of work here! im a plumber, been here 7 weeks had 3 interviews set up for the first week only one of them to do with plumbing the other 2 were mechanical type jobs where the plumbing skills and experience were transferable. haven't did my gap training yet, due to do it end of march. know a couple of guys in the lecky trade and have spoken to people, you've got to be flexible and put yourself out there. im lookin at getting my restricted electrical licence once ive got my plumbing licence as there are a few jobs askin for it. double the amount of work here for sparks as there is plumbing. al the best.

Just got my 190 visa this week and used destination oz. mick knows what he is talking about and came highly recommended. Always available for any questions.

May i take this opportunity to thank this forum, its moderators and anyone who has contributed to it. I would also like to recommend Destination Oz to anyone who would like some friendly and very useful help with the whole process. I tried to predict when I would get the co and then booked meds and police checks in for the 5 week point after main application.

At the moment co allocation could be between 5 and 10 weeks. Up to you but I would go with agents advise.

Hi all. I was just rechecking my record of responses for my 190 points based application and on page 3 it asked a question about previous travel to Australia and if I had applied for a visa before. there isn't any yes or no reply after the question and I cant remember what I put down as it was a couple of months ago.co has just asked for police checks as the only doc required but I like to cover all bases and be covered. I am going to submit a covering letter unless anyone has had the same dilemma. I know there is a form 1023 but I was thinking it might be a glitch in the system and just didn't get printed.
