  1. Hello All, I moved from UK to Perth less than 2 years ago as a permanent resident ( I was sponsored by my employer). I am planning to go back to the UK. Would I loose my PR? Thanks.
  2. Good Luck and enjoy Perth!
  3. Good Luck!! Welcome to Perth. I am also quite new here just arrived June last year. Lots of sun here you might need to bring a lot of high SPF sun block cream.
  4. Hi, it you're interested to work like an agency nurse ChoiceOne gives sponsorship google their website or Ramsay Health Care for Hollywood Private Hospital or Royal Perth for Public.
  5. Hi, A couple of my nurse's friend works also at Charlies and I am a nurse working in a private hospital next to it called Hollywood Private Hospital. As Scottish Redhead 82 mentioned Charlies is quite accessible to public transport and near the city centre and the UWA. If you will be looking for accommodation near the hospital either within a walking distance or bus route consider areas like Shenton park, Subiaco, Broadway,Claremont (Stirling Highway) or if you will be driving, you can look further out of the city .
  6. Hi I am only just a month with my current employer. I have no plan of leaving but I just want to know my options if there is any or if I am tied to them because they are my sponsor. Thanks.
  7. Hi I have an employer sponsored Visa and was given PR. Can I transfer to another employer and not finished the contract? or I do need to stay with the same employer for 3 years as my contract states? Any thought???
  8. Yes, bring everything as it can be pricey here for a starter like me.
  9. Hi there, good call with the 40 plus group. Just the one member then? :) Im Dean 41 and will be arriving in Perth from the gold coast with my partner Jane 40 and my boy Hugo 2 years NEXT WEEK s3maxx? Any referance to the Audi?..
  10. Welcome Michaela. Are you planning of working or emigrating?
  11. I've used shipping company http://www.doreebonner.co.uk after several quotes from others they are more reasonable.
  12. Hi KittyKatt, as far as I am aware, airline gives allowance for those emigrating. Emirates gives up to 50 kgs. I am leaving soon and flying with Singapore airline and they will double from 20 to 40 kgs, although the ticket indicates only 20kgs. I have called Singapore airlines and was told of their policy. But scary as it was only verbal and not in writing. Phone your airline and double checked.

  14. I had a telephone interview for a nurse post and it was less scary and I felt less nervous than face to face. I would say take your time in answering the questions. Always to practice your breathing technique and you'll sail trough. Now I am leaving 1st of June for the post that I was interviewed over the telephone. Good Luck.

    Car Club

Is there any car club in Perth where like here in the UK you can rent a car with easy access to it and at a cheaper rate like streetcar, commonwheels or zipcar? Thanks.
