  1. Not to dampen hopes but from what l have managed to find you cant swop your HR licence automatically.. https://www.gov.uk/exchange-foreign-driving-licence ignore the click on northern Ireland bit and click start...
  2. hi there Just also thought that it would be useful to give you some direct companies to follow up on... Rockybay. Identitywa.. Ability .. Nulsen.. Baptistcare.. Activ .. if you go to their websites they have career page with direct contacts. there are loads more out there.. and you certainly wont struggle to find work..
  3. Thought l would throw my 10c in.... l am with Bingle.com.au yes an online insurance company.. were they good... bloody excellent infact... l had a bingle... and they were brilliant... and everytime they have outquoted everyone l came across.. worth to do a check on how much they will charge you.. l am fully comp and pay less than $450 a year.. that's with my bingle bungle haha..
  4. from one fifo widow to another l see where you are coming from Elfie... if life could be a bit more financially balanced in Perth most wouldn't even look at fifo... but you gotta start somewhere... Whats OH gonna do after the 5 months... is he gonna be a lucky escapee back to perth?
  5. Just head up to wanneroo .... just not long after the whitford /wanneroo lights... and you will see loads and loads
  6. Hey not saying don't have a pool... just saying... that after your Englishness wears off and you no longer find you are immune to water that represents a warm English day at the seaside l would honestly say that you would be lucky to see anyone use that pool outside of summer which could be from Nov to Feb depending on how quickly it heats up for summer... and l am being generous lol... but you still gotta maintain it... for the other 8 months that it sits there looking pretty...
  7. Hi there It can be all very confusing when trying to rotate your life around what you think will be the best bet for your children. You might find this a bit more helpful.... http://det.wa.edu.au/schoolsandyou/detcms/navigation/your-childs-education/enrolling-in-school/like it has been said... you only need a few kids to do well in the ATAR/WACE and it can push the school up the ladder ... it is all very manipulated by how scoring is done here... they seem to be able to add on or deduct scores depending on the previous years results... l have given you a general link so you will need to navigate around it to find out about schools etc and what they are offering rather than what their score line. l do know that there is a lot of people moving into catchment area's for schools as they very seldom take people outside the catchment areas due to popular demand. Especially if they offer Gifted and Talented courses or School Based Extended Classes.
  8. Oh this was a post from 2012... so double the costs lol..... not being a Grinch.... l still have the damn pool lol.... 10. You know a boomerang was invented by someone who had no one else to play Frisbee with...... hehehe
  11. Hi Been having a dig around and came across this site, hope it helps http://www.buggybuddys.com.au/magazine/read/the-fairies-dance-class-joondalup-_312.html it looks like this would be the closest or you can ask around at your local school that you are hoping for your daughter to attend in next year or so... there are a helpful bunch of folk around if you hunt them down lol.... have a look in a local paper as well. l know in Glengarry shops in Duncraig behind the shell garage l am sure l saw a mother n toddler newspaper.
  12. Just to give you an idea... $80,000 a year is.... weekly $1169,46... fortnightly $2338,92.... Monthly$5067,67 with tax free threshold weekly $1032.46 ...fortnightly $2064.92... Monthly $4473.67 without tax free threshold remember to get your TFN (tax file number) as soon as possible as you will be paying a higher rate until you do. Remember with the tax free threshold you have to tick the box get someone from HR to go through it with you... it just means you pay less tax straight away on your wages, but if you don't mind taking less home everytime you get paid you can use it and get it back at the end of the tax year in a lump sum. this doesn't cover over time and any other perks you might get. hope it helps ...
  13. Where are you hoping to get to when you land? If you know you can roughly work out how much it would cost by cab here.
  14. Hi Catherine As you have not put if you will be south or north of Perth l have given you a link of all the schools which you can scroll through or if you have an area you can pick the local schools. There are a few schools which have special Ed schools attached to main stream schools like Duncraig Senior for example which is North Perth. The system is completely different here and maybe you can contact some schools to find what they have to offer.... http://www.det.wa.edu.au/schoolsonline/home.do hope it helps.
  15. Drive thru.... get your beers on the way and if you know what you want they will drop it in the back for you .... lemon curd is lemon butter Don't worry if you use all your license points you can go to court and get an Exceptional license. Rego is your car tax they say over 80% of drivers don't hold comp insurance Every job application asks if you ever or going through a compensation claim. .
