  1. Hi, I have sent you a private message with a copy of my CV. I would be delighted to be considered for the position.
  2. Hi thanks for the reply! I get an automatic visa on arrival with my NZ passport. I have taught science in the past so hopefully I land some work pretty quickly. I received an email from one of the teaching agencies, they said there is quite a bit of day to day relief work in term 3 and start of term 4. Hopefully that should keep me going for a while.
  3. Hi all, great forum here, this is my first post! I'm a post-primary teacher with 10 years experience at both classroom and management level and I'm moving to Perth in August. Does anyone know what the jobs situation is like in education? Is it best to sign up with an agency such as ANZUK and get relief work with the hope of getting a more permanent contract or should I be emailing or calling in to individual schools with my CV on arrival. Is there enough relief work available to keep a teacher going for a while? My teaching subjects are HASS, geography, environmental studies and ICT. I also have NZ citizenship so I don't have to worry about sponsorship or any job restrictions. I have also applied for TRBWA registration and will have it before I arrive. Any advice would be very much appreciated. I'm looking forward to the move but also a little anxious about being able to find a steady supply of work. Thanks!
