Do your reasearch Pleanty of gas hot water systems and other gas work. Central heating as you know it does not exist I've never seen oil fired heating here at all. Solar with gas boost is a popular choice As VS says his licence counts for little here. He will need to find someone to work for \ with and go through RPL for a WA licence

Not my line so can't point you anywhere with that. There are a lot of companies near the airport on Abernethey Road that make and repair heavy truck trailers, lots of welding or,on Stirling Cresent, a lot of companies that service and repair heavy machinery before or after mine site use, again lots of welding work. Let me know if that's the kind of thing you could be after and I will get some company names for you, I go through their every day on the way to work

We both sent emails, both had interviews by phone and Skype , job offers and contracts signed before leaving UK, they even waited 3 months while my wife worked her notice period, this was 3 years ago. After a few phone calls I got a feel for the people I was talking to and was a bit cheeky, pushed them to make me an offer, still work there today. If you get as far as an interview or 2 then it all goes quiet, don't panic, unlike UK Aussie employers will typically check your references before making you an offer, this can take several weeks. I work in the same industry as I did in the UK but at a higher level, I find it a more relaxed and informal environment than in the UK, good luck

If you are heading to the airport there is one we used the one time we went away and it's kind of on your way in canning vale area we were looking for the right place as our dog had spinal surgery a while ago and needs a lot of supervision so he does not jump around too much. This lady is a show dog type and runs a very small kennel at home, maybe 4 of 5 dogs max, purpose built kennels with runs and a good sized fenced grass exercise area, even a doggies swimming pool, her husband gets in with each dog so not unattended. She was recommended by the local shire, our 2 loved it there and had lots of attention, pm me if you want details

SH is a strange place English guy at work lives there was this dog lady an Aussie ?

It is possible, my wife and I both got jobs before we left he UK and both employers waited 3 months for us to start work as my wife had to give 3 months notice. I had 2 separate hour long phone conference interviews and she had 2 Skype interviews. It took a while after the interviews before being offered the jobs as Aus employers will typically wait for your references to come back before they make an offer, contracts were emailed, signed and scanned back. We are both with the same employers, my wife with local government and me with major international name

Yes exactly that if you are service /repair or similar trade the restricted licence will allow you to fault find, disconnect from fixed wiring, replace components, reconnect to fixed wiring and test, but nothing more than this, unsupervised
-
The restricted electrical licence can be signed off in a week if you have an A grade electrician on staff, easy if you are completing your log book towards the full licence then if will take months. We have signed off a few restricted log books, last one in about a week. This will give you disconnect/reconnect and replace components on a like for like basis, nothing more

The closest we've found is the Parkerville tavern in Parkerville, just outside Mundaring lovely big beer garden with lots of green and trees, animals for the kids to look at in the top corner, good food menu at sensible prices, wood fired pizza oven in the garden at weekends, log fire in the bar for winter. On a quiet road in the hills, been a few times on a Saturday lunch time, busy and lively in the garden, closest to a 'country pub' we've found
