  1. Hello, My husband and I are investigating a move to Perth and I'm just after a bit of information about the marketing sector in WA. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management and since graduating have specialised in Marketing, working within a marketing agency as an Account Executive and for a luxury hotel as a Marketing Coordinator. What would be the typical salary I could expect as a Marketing Coordinator in WA? In terms of finding a job in this field, would this be relatively easy and quick? Or not quite as simple as that? We also have two young children so ideally it would be great to find a role that is maybe 4 days a week rather than 5. How common is it to find part time roles in Marketing? Hope you can help. Thanks
  2. Hello, We are just starting to look into the costs of childcare as me and my husband are likely to be both working full time if we make the move to Perth. We have 2 children below school age, so would need childcare for them both. I've done a little bit of research and found a cost of $97.50 each for a full days childcare, so $195 in total. Would you say this is about average? I've also seen that the government assistance towards family's childcare is changing this year and is now a child care subsidy, but this is dependent on the parents meeting the residency requirements. Can anybody tell me what these requirements are and whether we would meet them if we were on a permanent visa?
  3. Hi all, I'm new to the site and looking for some advice. Does anyone know what the forestry industry is like in WA? I've heard Bunbury has a fibre port and a couple of sawmills so obviously has commercial forestry in the area. If anyone has any info, it'd be good to hear from you. My skill set is in all aspects of commercial forest management. Cheers
