Hi everyone, well we been here now 8 weeks and we are truly in love with WA. We are moving into a wow factor house in Clarkson next week and love the suburb! The kids love the schools there so dont believe all the rumours of bad reputation as the schools are actually very good. My job at king Edwards is brilliant too. I have to be honest weve found it cheaper so far to live here, the only things which are pricey are cars, especially second hand so we bought new instead, they same price. And also found it expensive to eat out oh and beer expensive, ya best buying bulk lol. Weve found great deals on quality furniture packages too so glad we didnt bring our stuff in containers. Anyway the sunshine and the beaches are worth it, we will never go back to England now! Hope uv all had as good a time as we have!!!!

Hi, applying for ahpra was the very first thing I did, I know I needed my ahpra reg to get a job and send the evidence for my visa. It can take up to 6-8 months to get it through depending on which office you send it too, Darwin is quicker but mine took four months still, good luck!!!

Hi, not sure about you being able to go on his 457 visa seen as its already granted but I had to send proof of living at same address, evidence of bills to that address from both of you, I also got statements off landlords, our local pub lol and friends who have known us as a couple, I've heard of people sending love letters and photos etc as well, good luck with it x

Sounds like im gonna be lucky to have a readymade personal hairdresser when i arrive, my friend who lives in Merriwa is a mobile hairdresser, we used to work together as hairdressers although now im a midwife lol, wow prices are crazy, id never pay those prices no way thats a right rip off, mmmmm or maybe i could earn more hairdressing rather than midwifery at those rates lol, no way id never change lol, good luck finding a good one Ellie x

Ive got a job as a midwife in Subiaco, i sent my CV to loads of hospitals but heard not nothing so i managed to get a contact through a friend of a friend who knew the manager of the labour suite, i sent my CV and got the interview and job whoohoo well chuffed, gonna be earning 60+K basic and been told 10-15k on top for unsocialable hours, bonus, im happy and cant wait to start, good luck to everyone else looking for jobs!!!!

Being a old hairdresser im glad i can get the colour im gonna need for my hair, whoohoo if products are more or less the same yey x

Hi, surely if your partner was a care assistant she could be a support worker in a hospital wouldnt that give you enough points instead, you never know it might be an idea for you, fingers crossed!!!
