im a joiner from edinburgh honestly mate there isnt much work for us brickies put in all standards windows wich are all metal most houses have no skirtings all internal walls are brick and plaster no timber studs all roofs are done by ozzies im laying hardwood floors for a scottish company wich is big across here even the kitchens are fitted by the cabinet makers .if u come across be prepared its not like uk for joiners

ive had no problems securing a rental as long as you understand it will be 350 to 500 dollars a week for standard house or apartment northern suburbs
