My family are moving to Mindarie in the first week of February and my husband is in desperate need of finding work as we are only coming over with £10,000 (not sure what the dollar equivalent is) My husband is a skilled carpenter and has been in the trade for over 20years. Hello Shelby-Mae, I'm kind if in the same boat as you. I'm moving to perth at the end of the year from England and I'm terrified! I have never met an Australian person before so I have no idea what to expect, I have to enrol in a college to get the correct qualifications so I can then go to uni. By the sounds of things Perth is very different to what life is like here. In England 18 year olds just party and worry about their career and life later, it seems like Australians are more mature about life. Ahhhh.
