Thanks for the recommendation. Two episodes in and really enjoying it! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk

I'm not an expert in it - but consider applying for a RRV. You may or may not be granted one but a Mara registered agent should be able to guide you through it and give further advice. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk

Cheers for that. [emoji106] Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk

Thanks VeryStormy - Just so I get this right in my mind: We aren't covered by Medicare until we clear quarantine and register, the reciprocal agreement isn't applicable, we need medical insurance until registered with Medicare? TIA.

For the period between landing in Oz and getting out to register for Medicare are we still covered by the reciprocal agreement? Or should I have extended travel insurance for a few weeks? We're PR. Cheers. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk

One thing to mention - I got a completely different feel of the suburbs when driving around them to researching online. Different at night to through the day as well. Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk

We were supposed to move over in April but our flights were cancelled on us. We'll get there eventually! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk

We were based in Secret Harbour for our 3 week reccie. I really liked the place. It had a nice feeling and has a decent restaurant in the Whistling Kite. It's a short drive to Mandurah where we spent fair bit of time, although it's got a mixed reputation. It'll probably take you an hour to drive to the CBD, which isn't too bad if you can work from home a couple days a week. The car parks at the train stations are rammed at peak times. The properties are really cheap to buy/rent compared with the northern suburbs. Not sure about schools but you can check out the rankings here https://www.watoday.com.au/national/western-australia/wa-school-atar-ranking-2019-how-did-your-school-perform-in-2019-20200108-p53psl.html .

Anyone waiting to migrate?

A cheap deal sounds good Ali. I've only been there for a day trip and loved it. Would be great to spend a night or two [emoji4] Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk -

Mind you 14 days quarantine on Rotto sounds tempting! Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk -

Yeah we could have rearranged a flight and got in as PR, but I decided to hold on and let the jobs market pick up a little. Trying to relax a little and enjoy the weather in the UK! [emoji3508] Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk -

We had our one-way flights cancelled last month just as we were about to migrate to Perth and need to rebook at some point (sooner rather than later). Anyone else watching and waiting and hoping? [emoji3061] Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk

Hope everyone had a good one.

Probably a daft question, but is it worth shipping a tumble dryer over for use in the winter months? Sent from my Redmi Note 7 using Tapatalk
