Hi, I'm a Graphic Designer and working in Perth at the minute, however I feel it is a much under appreciated skill having worked at it for a few years now and not really getting a great wage or much career development options here so i am thinking of retraining now in CAD. Has anyone done this - I remember being recommended to do this when I first arrived in Perth and that there was a short course? Have we any CAD technicians out there could lend some advice or anyone in a similar situation looking to retrain? ​

leederville great area, 5mins to city with 2 train lines. loads cafes,bars shops. we rent 3x1 for 550 a week. bit expensive but with 2 incomes it isn't too bad.

just sent away our police clearance forms last week as myself and partner going for regional visa. none of us ever in trouble before so had nothing to worry about until on saturday night my boyfriend got a moving on order from the police. has to appear in court. next day he went to police and asked would it effect visa application , said police very helpful and said that it wouldn't. we have also spoke to a few people since then who said the same so just wondering. has anyone went through similar and any info on this ? will we have to apply for new police clearance ? or because its minor will the one we sent for be ok ? thanks

Hi Everyone, I'm currently trying to get the 186 Visa and I'm afraid I may run into a few issues. My employer is willing to assist and I have started the process of getting my skills recognised through vetassess. Thing is I think the employer may fal short in the trainning requirements, has anyone heard of anyone overcoming this issue or any ways around it?
