My question is............ what happens if the company decides to retain you after the 4yrs visa expiration? can 457 visa be renewed? Is the visa designed for only 4yrs without renewal? Please I'll really appreciate if someone can help me with this.

Hello, i'm still doing my research about schools, can someone please tell me if all schools (private/state) run school buses and what are their charges? is it per term or annually? i really will appreciate answers:wink:

Thanks ali, this suburb thread is so handy. I think i'm liking Leeming as i have 4boys 11yr, 9yr, 6yr and 2yr so i'm feeling my boys will be comfortable here and more so reduced crime. OH will be travelling in and out so will really love to be in a very friendly environment and close to shops. Is there a pre - school in Leeming? what's the cost like? If the need arises for my 2yr old to attend. Thanks....

Thank you Straighttothepoint, i've checked and at least i now know the types of visa, it's a permanent job offering and the company will assist in accommodation and school. Please to be sure do i have to start applying for schools now or wait until arrival, my boys are in yr5, 4yr and 2yr respectively cos i noticed the school calender is quite different from here( Abu Dhabi)? I really appreciate your help....

Hi we're hoping to move to Perth if all negotiations go smoothly, DH office is transferring him to Perth, please how long will it take to process our visas and what type of visa will be given to us since it's a transfer? Hi i'm mumofboys:smile: cos i'm the only lady in the house, my DH n my four lovely boys 11, 9 , 6 n 2yr old respectively. I'm just wandering if you ladies will help me out with the lots on my mind. DH is almost signing a contract for a new job here in Perth and i personally don't know anything about perth.... n haven't visited to funny right?. We live in Abu Dhabi and so my questions are: Are the govt schools as good as the private schools? What is the cost of private schools? What is the cost of renting a decent house in a decent environment? Could anyone recommend suburbs with good schools and decent family lifestyle? How is the tax rate? Thank you very much in advance!!!!! Ooh just to add if all goes well should be moving in by June!!
