  1. Hi All! My name is Jamie, I am a carpenter from St. Albans, England and I am flying to Perth on March 7th on a working holiday visa. Looking to settle in Perth for a while and get some casual work, any advice on the best way to start out?!... Are there agencies for casual work seekers? Is it better to walk CV's around to different businesses? Is fruit picking a good option in WA? Would anyone likely put a level 3 carpenter to good use even without tools? Any advice would be very much appreciated! Many thanks Jamie
  2. Hope someone can help me, I recently moved to Perth from Ireland on a Work/Holiday Visa and seek work in labouring. I have recently graduated with a Level 8 Architecture Honours Degree and have experience in working for a Consultant Engineering Firm for the last 9 months. I have 2 years experience working with a Carpenter where I was Slabbing, Flooring and Partitioning and have a good understanding of the Construction Industry. I have got my White Card and PPE and am available to work straight away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
