  2. Hi all, New Year's Resolution - meet some new girlfriends! I've been here for a couple of years with my husband, but at the stage now where some of the friends I made when I first moved here are starting to go back to the UK.... So I'd like to meet some new girlfriends, ideally in the Northern suburbs! I'm 31, no kids, based near Joondalup, and into the usual type of things - meeting for drinks/dinner, movies, beach, fitness etc. Give me a shout if anyone fancies meeting up! Happy to meet up North or in the city, or anywhere in between xx

I completed my working holiday visa in May this year and have returned as a student as the thought of going home was too much! I'm looking for new friends to hang out with Give me a shout if you're interested!

  5. Hi All, I'm thinking of moving to Perth with my Husband and one year old son in the near future. We are Indian Sikhs and I was wondering if there is much of an Indian or Sikh community out there? I'm looking to keep some of the indian culture in the location we settle in so that when my Punjabi parents come over they will be able to socialise with similar faiths. Are there many Gurdwara's around? I would love to chat to anyone already out there!
  6. Hi All We moved here just one month ago and have met a few people, thanks to Poms in Perth, but friendships are built over time and ther is always room to make more new friends We stumbled across the bowling alley in Joondalup and wondered about a night out bowling. They do a package deal for groups $25 2 games of bowling, burger and a drink (yes it an be alcoholic). Their brochure does say it has to be paid in full but I will check. I was thinking maybe sat 14th or 21st jan? Let me know if you are interested and give me your email address so it's easier to chat or if you have Facebook that's even easier. Wod be ideal to have a rough idea of numbers so I can check availability and paying Candice
  7. Help finding a group

Hi all. I'm a 25 year old guy, originally from Blackpool, moved to Perth 2 years ago to be with my partner who is an Aussie. Love it here, have my visa and never plan on leaving! My girl and I are both into theatre, and we've both studied related degrees. We've been looking for an amateur dramatics group to get involved with, but there seem to be very few around. The ones that do exist seem to be aimed at retirees, and we're looking to do things a bit more exciting than Agatha Christie plays (not that there's anything wrong with that). Just wondering if there's anyone out there who can suggest any local groups? We're up Joondalup way but would be happy to travel a reasonable distance. Failing that, if anyone has the same interests and is interested in starting a group up from scratch, please get in touch on here. Fingers crossed!
  8. New in Perth

Hi all We've been in Perth for a couple of months now, while we're loving it, we both left good friends back in the UK and miss the social interaction. (And just having someone else to talk to). If anybody fancies meeting up for a few drinks or BBQ etc let us know. We have a dog and head up to the dog beach near Scarborough most weekends, if anyone wants to join in! We're in South Perth but it's fairly handy for most areas. Look forward to hearing from you. Stu & Kelly
