BobbyMacleod
My friend and I are coming to Perth in November on a WHV and are hoping to get rural work for the first few months. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about finding rural work, and what options we have at that time of year and location? Any response would be extremely appreciated. Thanks Bobby

nikkiwd
a lot of the backpackers lodges have contacts for agencies looking for backpackers. there is a job shop in northbridge (central perth) that deals with these kinds of jobs, we used it when backpacking 7 years ago and it looks like its still going http://www.thejobshop.com.au
Guest Stuuu
The grain Harvest will start in the lower parts of the Wheatbelt and South West in November, so it might be worth contacting the grain handlers directly, applications for harvest casuals may still be open. I worked in the Wheatbelt last harvest for them and it was a wonderful experience not to mention the $$.
BobbyMacleod
Thank you for all of the replies! Does anyone know of a directory of grain handlers or something similar to get in contact details?
