bwatt99
I am moving into my rental soon and im trying to pick a package, there is so many out there and i dont know how good they are,im in baldivis central and im looking for the best one for that area,i will be online a bit, maybe watching tv from overseas and will be using skype a bit,so want something that mostly hold up a good connection etc,i know baldivis is not the best place for internet right now but maybe will get better. I find that a lot ask for 24 months contract, well as im in a rental ideally i would want a something shorter or not in a contract but not many provide that,i read about negs on one isp and same on another,i just hope to pick the right one first time. I will want hopefully a phone and internet package, and if possible maybe even a wireless modem thrown in but i suppose i can easy buy one. I need to try and get this sorted out or pick someone asap but have no idea what to go for some companies i have been told about are. iinet tpg westnet spintel telstra club telco etc etc If you guys are in this area be interested to know what you use, what you pay and what like the provider is,if you use it for overseas skype and tv and also if unlimited etc
LugubriousDuncan
Hi - We arrive on 20/08 and have the same problem. I've been looking at telstra but I'm not sure
portlaunay
We are with Vivid. We also didn't want to be tied into a contract and wanted something mobile so we could be out and about looking for properties etc and be able to access the net on more than a phone. Two years on we're still with them. I think we pay around $80pm for unlimited downloads which is great for us because we only have Apple TV. Skype is too laggy to be useful and I'm not sure what their coverage is like as it uses their own WiMAX network; it was certainly a lot better when we lived in the middle of Freo. If I were in your position and was going to be living close to civilisation I'd go with them again but I'd be checking out the coverage map for Baldivis before committing.
