elfie
On Thursday on route to see the Sterophonics up in the big city hubby and I called into Warnbro to the cash point. Not knowing my delightful hubby had placed his wallet on my lap, out of the car I got. Went to cash point withdrew money then on route to friends. When we got to friends my delightful hubby chirps up wheres my wallet did you put it in your bag DOH! I would have if you had asked me. All my fault it is lost NOT. Well back we went to Warnbro to see if we could spot it thinking its gone forever. Went to center office and some honest man had handed it it. He did not leave his name for us to say thank you. All was still there cards drivers licence ect. So there are some honest folks out there. Big thanks to the guy who handed this in sorry we cant thank you personally as you didnt leave your name. Give me a break!
Snap! Managed to leave my purse with brand new iPhone 5 in it, on the table outside the Brighton in Mandurah, it was packed. Didn't realise until I got home. I drove back down and just like you, someone had handed it in. Everything was still there some one had walked past saw it and handed it behind the bar. travelchic
My sister was wedding shopping in Liverpool and left an envelope with £300 in it on the bus coming home. She phoned up the bus company and they said its been handed in. And it wasn't a sealed envelope, just folded over. She never found out who handed it in either. The person who found it could have kept it. He then handed it into the bus company and they could have easily kept it. My sister was really surprised. Admin
Couple of examples over the last few months, my wife lost her phone at the Casino (no, not a big gambler, only plays 5c slots!), someone found it and rang to say they'd got it. Second one was only a couple of months ago, unbeknown to me I must have dropped my wallet walking to board a plane at Sydney. Someone handed it in and it came over the loud speaker on the plane could Mr Williams please identify himself and said wallet was promptly returned.
