Hi Coco,

We are staying in Wananup at the moment, not far from Dawesville. its seems a nice area so far, right on the beach so you can do bike riding along the front. Ye defo meet up as soon as your over. have you got dates set yet? I see your coming over on a regional Visa, im over on the same visa 475. you have work ready for when you come over?

oh, im from Stourbridge and my partner is from Harborne. what part of brum you from?

Hi Dave,

Scott (hubby) is a keen cycler he has already left his bike in Perth with our friends when we came over on Reccie, just 1 less bike for him to worry about!!

We are hoping to be back by February for when the new school year starts, but will know more next week from our Agent so will let you guys know, yes we are now coming over on Regional as Scott just could not get 8's in IELTS so came over trip and checked out work, schools etc in regional areas and fell in love with mandurah especially Meadow Springs so enrolled children at Frederick Irwin school too. Work should not be a problem as we have plenty of contact for Scott.

We are from Great and both in our 40's thats why we needed 8's as we lost 10 points for age. Does the 489 replace the 475 Visa then??

Look forward to meeting up deffo!!

Hi Coco,

if Scott likes riding he will love it here, ive just got back from a 40km ride. A load of lads and girls meet up at the local bike shop on a sat morning and go for 90min ride, there was about 60 of us today. I also do mountain biking. Ye the 475 was the older version of your visa I think. Im finding it hard to get a job around this area as my skill is in the city centre. However im applying for anything and everything. Ive had a couple of interviews though, im not letting it get me down. My partner on the other hand got a job with in a week of been here. She works in a bar called catch 22, so im lady of leisure at the mo.

if you need any info or help, feel free to drop me a message I will try to help. You will love it here

Hi Skippy,

May partner lived down cross farm road just of Metchley lane. Ye job hunting is going slow, not much work around Mandurah Area, problem im having in getting a full time position is the visa itself. Most companies are asking for PR and not visa holders. Im a 3D Cad Engineer by trade, so I do all 3D coordination for mechanical and electrical services. so this is not anywhere in the area we are living.

When are you Guys thinking of coming over.

Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for all the above he will def be in touch with you guys, he also does mountain biking too, in fact he pretty much has a bike for every day of the week lol!! And still looks at more!! I think me or my daughter may be joining your partner for work if I struggle to get admin work!!

I know its difficult and very worrying but it will not stop us or our friends Skippy 59 coming over even it if means us starting up some kind of business, not sure what yet!!

Good luck and hope you find some work soon.

Coco.
