Trav1
Hi Arrived in Perth 2 weeks ago and so far so good!! I want to be able to send a small package back to the UK in time for Xmas. My questions are: Is there a cut off date of when to send it so it gets there in time for Xmas? Anyone recommend a competitive company to use? Is it best to send via the post office? I know some of you will say don't bother it's too expensive, but sending a few Oz things back is something I am interested in doing once or twice a year. thanks
ali
Air mail, can prove to be expensive, sea mail dates for xmas have gone (was September) Air mail should still be ok, although I posted cards on December 1st and some didn't arrive until after xmas - wasn't sure if it was Aus post or Royal mail that was the problem (or both as bad lol). http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/new-prices.html
jamesw
i usually get all the xmas stuff sent by mid November back to the UK and so far, nothing has been late
kezngaz
Dont declare the expensive items, its changed recently, could be as little as 10 dollars!! We sent jewelry back for a birthday and the recipient had to pay an import tax nearing the value of it. Cards are cheaper than letters to send and can take 10 days.
