telwalsh
Hi all, Just wanted to share our journey on the way to securing our visas. We started the whole process in the middle of 2012 going the route of using a migration agent( I will not name them) the visa we were applying for was the RSMS 187 visa as a sales and marketing manager, the 1st stage was the RCB check which was approved on the 14th December 2012 with the next part being the nomination stage which was not applied for until march this year( even though we had everything ready). Then on the 27th June this year we saw a post regarding a migration company in perth going in to liquidation which was the one we was using, so I quickly fired over an email to them to find out if this was the case as we had heard nothing and they had told us they had lodged the visa application already but then we received the email we was dreading telling us they had but the worst part was they had not lodged the visa and basically if we wanted it lodged we would have to pay this ourself even though they had already had the money for this. So in stepped my sister-in-law and brother and basically went to the office of the company in Perth(as they have lived there for 8 years) and requested all of our documents and basically took it over for us,and to cut a long story short we managed to to lodge our application on line with only half a day to spare. The good news now is we had our visas granted Friday and so myself 39,wife Claire 30 and our two excited boys Brandon 12 and Bobby 8 will be heading over to Perth early 2013 so will see you all there and just remember that if you want it that bad you will make it happen. Thanks for reading. Terry

Thanks for reading. Terry Congratulations, I remember reading lots of posts from people affected by a firm going into liquidation a few months ago. Stories like this are just what people need when it gets hard staying motivated! Good luck to you all, Deb x

telwalsh
Cheers Deb, Other than the money it was that they never told us, we found out from here, so we was lucky from that point of view but it's onwards and upwards now, and I have my brother and wife over here for christmas so the drinks will be flowing.
