alana rose
Does anyone know what we can do to prevent fluff going all over our washing? Spoke to another friend thats new out here and she is finding the same problem too. Our temporary rental had a front loader now we've got a top loader and it's not making any difference. At first we thought a tissue had maybe been left in a pocket but nope. It's so frustrating, has anyone had this issue and overcame it> Alana

Lancelot1937
We've been visiting Mandurah for 22 years and when my sister in law got a new top loader 3 years ago we started to get that problem. Any dark colours showed a white deposit. It was probably on other clothes but not visible. Are you using the detergent suggested by the manufacturer of the machine? Are you using a cold wash. That seemed to emphasize the problem? We now always use hot, not warm, depending on what is being washed. Have you checked the filters. We found two after only cleaning one at first. We ran a HOT wash with some detergent and no clothes in, It did help. Check the filters again. It is a particular problem with a Simpson EZI Sensor machine and there were many comments when I Googled the problem, Some people returned the machine. elfie
how about trying the lint balls that go in the machines?
lozzachino
We have the same problem. Thought it was the powder not dissolving properley as it seemed better on a hot wash. then i did a hot wash with some black jeans and they discoloured everything else!! Argh! Why is washing so hard here!! a lot of our clothes have beein ruined, some that ive had for ages and always washed well in the uk. thinking about going back to a front loader. lozzachino
I think the spin speeds have ruined a lot too so i now do a delicate wash, the spin speed is slow so stuff comes out wetter but at least in tact. my sons elasticated shorts and pants have all been twisted and i cant fix them. Quite a few tops have now got holes in them too.
Guest guest9824
Never been a fan of top loaders, having used my mums when we have come on holiday, my clothes always looked positively violated when they came out of it! First thing we bought was a front loader, they are more water efficient too than the top loaders. No powder build up on the clothes when they come out either. verystormy
Check the filters. They may be blocked.
Rossmoyne
Never had that problem. I have a front loader (LG) and always use washing liquid and not powder, and only use fabric softener sometimes for the odd towel wash. I am not a lover of top loaders as I think they do not wash efficiently and use too much water. As VS says - check the filters!

odies
I have noticed when at my sons , they have a front loader, that in between the rubber at the door opening it really collects bits etc. I have to clean everytime. Never look at it in the uk must be the hard water you have in Oz.
Ktee
Our top loader was useless, never removed any stains. We now have a front loader Samsung bubble wash which is brilliant and gets my sons chef whites clean
