Skit78
Hi all, well me and the wife have got 12 days till we leave for perth:chatterbox:OMG' the last 3 weeks are going very quick, not a bad thing as we want to be there so much but we still have so many goodbyes to say, I think the airport ones will be the worse ones with the family we will be leaving behind. Still this is something we have waited for. Long time coming. Think it's starting to kick in now a little with the nerves. So my house is being rented out this fri. I have a tenant that will not move out of another house I rent out so just waiting for court order now for me to get the bailiffs round to kick him out . Don't think this will happen before we leave . So more stress to add to it all. Anyway good luck to you all who have made the big move and who are making the move have a great crimbo. PERTH BOUND 26TH DEC .

Akasully2
Good luck and safe journeys to all those going out in the coming months. I hope it is all you dream it will be. We plan to leave in April, which has seemed along way off but now we are nearly in the new year, crikes, it feels very soon! just hope the house sale goes through smoothly and within the planned time frame. Spoke to my mum today on the phone and she asked if we were definitely going. I said yes, she broke down in tears. So far she has put a brave face on it. I felt cruel putting her through that, no one wants to make their 77 year old mum cry. Just had to reassure her that I would talk to her regularly. She said she had no idea how to do skype and didn't think she could do it on her computer. What she doesn't know is that I have bought her a web camera for Christmas! We fly out on 9th January, we had a huge leaving party on Saturday which was great, there weren't too many tears, more laughs!!!... But now it has started to sink in! I went to pick my daughter up from her Rainbows group this evening and got all tearfull!...i don't even know any of the other parents there!... Felt like a bit of a wally!!! With regards to your mum, i totally can relate to that.... I feel like we are breaking everyones, who is close to us hearts at the moment... I work with my mum, finish up on Christmas eve and i am dreading it! .... What a great idea of the webcam!... Maybe i need to buy my mum something to soften the blow?!!! Good luck amy x

Skit78
Hi, well two days here in perth, and all I can say is hot hot hot. And talking to others this is not that bad for this time of year so they think it's gonna get a lot hotter as in a big heat wave. Anyway we are off to see a few agents today hoping their open, as we have seen a few property's we like . We managed to get a car for nothing to get us from A to B but we will end up buying one soon. We're having NYE on the fore sure tonight so should be fun then off out Sunday for BBQ and jet skiing on the swan river. Our flight over was not to bad as we was in Hong Kong for 2 knights and what a place this is I will be going back their for a holiday. Not been looking for any jobs yet as things are slow over Christmas and New Years in the plumbing game but am told it picks up soon . Fingers crossed, if not wife can work and I can relax lol. Well for those who are coming over its a great place 'beautiful and well worth a go . Good luck to you all and happy new year.
Nadrim
We are off 6 January. Every day seems to involve packing. Our fences blew down in the storm so I've another £1500 bill to fix before our tenants arrive!
