Hi,

I have been in Perth on a WHV for about a month now and love it here. I am a qualified Electronics/Electrical Technician and have been applying for work and not getting a great deal back. I am currently getting my trades assessed as an Electrical fitter (instruments) and Electrical Fitter (mechanic) through TRA. My aim is to get sponsored but I know for an employer to actually do this they have to go through a lot of paper work and legislation. My background is Army and military equipment.... And this line of work over here requires national security clearance. I am willing to work anywhere. So my question really is what's the best way of finding engineering work to gain sponsorship?
