sgtpepper
I can't believe that the new house we are in has gaps around the window frames which let in pests, crickets which make a racket all night in the cavity. I am going to silicone them all in. Let me know your thoughts, I can't believe. That a newly built house has no sealant around the windows. Intrigued as to your replies, cheers
dxboz
Don't know about if they had been sealed but I didn't have any gaps around window frames in previous house or this one. Maybe raise the issue with your builder?
verystormy
No gaps at mine and I know my house being built won't have any.
sgtpepper
I'm in construction maintenance and see it all the time, of course not ALL have gaps, but many do. Have you ever tried getting a WA builder back, it's easier to get an audience with the pope, lol

Anyways good luck with Jimny Cricket at half three in the morning chirping away!
