The day has arrived - visa granted!

So we go the phone call today we have been waiting for for 6 months - 'you have your visas!'

Wow, so relieved, and happy of course, but have to admit it is a little bitter sweet as our beloved dog who was ready to go out with us has had a very poorly few weeks and we have accepted his time may be nearing and he may not be able to go out and live the dream with us...

So our adventure may be stalled for a few more months than we had hoped and planned, but wow, what an adventure to look forward to.

Also difficult breaking it to the family, more bittersweet, as it is not something we expect them to get excited about. It was almost a 'oh by the way we have our visas,' change subject!

Hi there, meds were uploaded mid December but because of the Xmas break, our Police checks didn;t go until last Thursday, plus all of the proof of our relaitonship stuff. So, they literally approved it within one day of receiving everything they needed! So I have a strong feeling you will hear this week if recent timings for everyone are anything to go by! Fingers and toes crossed xx

Raychelsb- woo hoo fantastic news! congrats to you :-) not long since your meds were uploaded then? we're right behind you!

not such good news about your poor dog though, take care xxxxxxx

any ideas? my friend uploaded meds and pcc mid nov, just before christmas it said decision made on her DIAC page but they've still not heard anything, she's starting to panic !

Has their email gone to junk? If a decisions been made they should have had the email by now. We had an email address for our case officers 'group' so we were able to email them and they came back pretty quickly. I'd suggest they email or phone their CO?

Fingers crossed x
