SteveJ
Hi there we are just in the process of completing the ANNAC skills assessment paperwork for my partner as a nurse and have a question about the professional reference. We are looking at using her line manager who is a deputy sister as the ward manager refuses to do references and passes them to the deputy sisters. Has anyone else got any idea if this will be an issue. Or who did you use for your reference.
Emmiejay
I have asked my department manager to do mine, but she is taking ages. I don't know if the deputy sister is allowed to do the reference you could email ANMAC and ask just to be on the safe side.
SteveJ
I have now checked with migration agent and they say as long as it is her supervisor it should be fine. The old paperwork version of ANMAC application does state Nurse manager or immediate supervisor. So we should be good.
Emmiejay
Wish I had asked our deputy sister now would have been quicker, good luck with everything.
SteveJ
Thanks it just seems so surreal at the min after about 8 years of discussing it going to immigration fares and researching everything we have actually booked IELTS academic for 18th Jan and signed up with an agent. It's just crazy.

lonelygran
Hi Stevej, would you mind letting me know what migration agent you are using, are they in Perth or UK and would you recommend them?
SteveJ
Hi we searched this site and read lots of reviews as there are a few that come highly recommended. We contacted a few and based on cost, communication and helpfulness we decided to go with Go Matilda. We are at the very early stage and so far so good everything is clearly laid out and you know where you stand. They are also very prompt at answering questions.
