Gallzy91
I'm arriving in Perth on the 19th of April and am keen to join a Saturday league club ASAP. Not sure on how registration fees etc work either so any info would be a massive help!

jamesw
I have been involved in football for the last 5 years so can answer any questions you have regarding clubs in the area you decide to live in.
Gallzy91
I will mainly be in the Scarborough/innaloo area. Looking for a good team with good facilities as I'm keen to get as much out of the football in Australia. Also what's this international transfer certificate I've seen people going on about? jamesw
The ITC is a form that has to be completed, usually by the secretary of the club, for any player whose last club was overseas. It makes sure the player does not owe any money to their previous club and checks that the player is currently serving a suspension. I hope this link works, but it should show you the closest clubs to you: http://www.myfootballclub.com.au/index.php?id=63 For Saturday football, the closest team looks like UWA Nedlands who play in the State league division 1 or Subiaco who are going to play in the newly formed National Premier League
Gallzy91
Would you know where I could get one of these international transfer certificates from? Been looking for half hour and can't seem to find it.
jamesw
http://www.footballwest.com.au/index.php?id=itcs But as said before, it can't be completed until you have joined a club over here and the club secretary should really do it. Football
Dont worry too much about the ITC thing, takes about 2 weeks from the UK, other countries takes longer (dont know why). The club registrar will take care of it as soon as you decide to sign for a club, just mention it at the time. JUFC have a range of clubs for various levels of ability, there home ground is at Beldon not far from you plan to stay, great social side. Check out website, jufc.com.au. Jonny Foster
Hi! im also a Perth Pom, dead keen on playing but I'm pretty unfit at the moment. Are there any kind of 'knockabout' teams who just get together for a laugh? I'm 31 in a couple of weeks so can't keep up with the whippersnappers anymore... cheers!
