i've just washed the sand off my car ( i don't off road, i just live in Secret Harbour), ive fitted new sun visors to my beetle, broke rear view mirror on beetle and started my beetle to hear her purr. Just having an ice cream before i start on the evenings beer rations. Later i'm going to watch an Iridium flare if the the beer ration hasen't had an adverse affect.

Having a well deserved glass of Houghtons SSB relaxing on the patio after a swim. Been a week from "not a nice place" as Mum has to move from a low care aged facility into High Care on Friday. So I have been sorting out her belongings and packing and cleaning and... sooooo emotional. Alzheimers is so so unfair and horrible to witness in someone you love so very much. Sorry wet face now...

So sorry to hear this, it is a horridly devastating illness. Much love coming your way from the portlaunay family.

My heart goes out to you Rossmoyne. It is truly devastating to watch someone you love, go through this. Even more so for the carers, family etc to watch thedecline, left feeling frustrated, guilty, angry and sad! My dad was a big burly ex naval man who ruled us with a rod of iron, and I can't quite get the image of him, curled up foetal position, weighing so very little, out of my mind, I wanted to bundle him up and take him home, and so wish to this day I had done that, but alas I would have probably ended up being very ill myself and no use to my own young family....I am sure your mum knows she is loved by a very loving strong daughter, and that is all that matters. Face wet too now....

It's the wreck on north Coogee beach (I'm not sure if that's the name of the beach but that's where it is).

Bean tell wee Bean that peaster saw fish that puffed up if you went near them and stingrays swimming right next to her, she is so tired though, they do get some great opportunities :)
