Kk1
Hi there, My parents are currently in Australia on a tourist visa and want to apply for permanent visa. My dad just turned 65 and qualifies as aged but my mum is only 55. Can they still both get aged parent visas ? What advantages does aged parent visas have over normal parent visas. Thank you in advance Kayne.
verystormy
These visas are always complex as there are two and both have issues. The contributory one which is good but VERY expensive - tens of thousands and the remaining relative which is cheaper but has a wait time of 16 years to process. I would recomend speaking to a registered migration agent for options
odies
the only thing I know is it takes forever to get one, and with the bridging visa it looked to much hassle
