Reasonable accommodation in Margaret River

Hi all

getting really frustrated trying to find decent self catering accommodation in the Margaret river region.

I know xmas is going to be expensive, but getting super annoyed with all the places that sleep 6/8 people but show prices for two adults and then charge extra for extra people. Then extra if you want linen, then extra for cleaning!! Its such a rip off, and most of the places aren't even nice!!!

does anyone have somewhere they can recommend for 5 adults and a four year old? Anywhere really from Busselton, to beyond Margaret River? Not too far as just want to do 3/4 nights if possible, although looking unlikely over xmas :(

thanks

My family have rented a house in Bussleton for 3 families will let you know after we speak on sunday, I know it was on the beach and near the play park. Also we have stayed in Wise Wines they have huts on their estate, not brill no tv, but after wondering where we had come to had the best time ever.

We love the Busselton area and have stayed at Aqua Resort a couple of times now, stayed in the 4 bed grove beach house, very high quality place to stay, right on the beach, lovely. Quite pricey though, but there is four bedrooms and one bedroom had two sets of bunk beds, three bathrooms to three bedrooms, and the kitchen is fully equipped with excellent appliances. The possums run freely all over the place, you see them in the bushes at night, very cute (can be noisy ya night running over the roof) :)

Thanks peanuts but cant afford $600 a night! My Dad is visiting from south africa, and with the awful exchange rate we will be paying for the holiday, not splitting it between us to make it more affordable. Not sure we will get anywhere that will let us stay less than a week, guess i must just mission on!

Hope that works ....if not they have a fb page and you can follow the link on there. Two of the bedrooms are bunk beds but not kiddy ones they are full size single beds. There is a BBQ outside conservatory area. And DVDs and games for the children and a football table outside and trampoline in the garden. Close or shops too. We would definately stay there again .
