midwife momma
As well as being a busy midwife I am also a creative sort of girl. I currently rent a little studio where I create vintage inspired wedding dresses, special occasion gowns and a cute range of vintage aprons. I sell these at local craft fayres. When I visited perth I went to the markets at Freo but does anyone know if Perth has craft fayres that I can sell my goodies at?
Guest guest9824
Wow, fabulous...love vintage/retro materials etc....we have a monthly market in Kalamunda, first Saturday of each month, reckon you would do well...definately think Freo would be good too and places like Mt Lawley ( not sure if they have a market) and maybe look at 'pop up' shops in places like Leederville and Subi...best of luck! peax
portlaunay
On the first Sunday of every month there's a craft market at South Freo High School. There's a few stalls doing vintage clothing and a friend of mine has a pop up shop doing vintage clothes here in Freo. Not sure what options there are in other areas, sorry. Claremont showgrounds has a "Polka dot markets" Vintage markets about 3/4 times a year. Google it and it'll give you all the info you might need. We went and will look forward to the next one in April, I think it is. Good luck All the best Jane

portlaunay
I've just been informed by Mrs p who is something of an expert in these matters, that you should search for the Polka Dot Vintage Market which is held at Claremont Showgrounds each year. There's also an annual retro market in Freo but the name eludes her right now. My friends store in Freo is called Veneer and they also have a FB page if you want to check them out. There's also the annual Tweed Ride that is always very popular and people usually make a real effort to get into the spirit of the event. Like the idea of the miniature village being nearby too, never been. Might have to take a trip there some time soon, can you take small dogs? I have a feeling this pup isn't going to let me out of his site for a while.... pea
