verystormy
It is very hard to get a job before arriving in Australia and most new migrants need 3-6 months to find their first job. indeed.com.au and seek.com.au are the main job sites What visa are you coming on? ali
Sorry, not up to date with visa's - does that one restrict where you can live/work?
verystormy
Sorry, not up to date with visa's - does that one restrict where you can live/work? There is a moral obligation to be in WA for 2 years, but that is all - not like the 489 that insists on regional
lozzachino
if your English is not perfect you may struggle to find work as employers will find any excuse not to hire, especially if you don't have the all important 'WA Experience'! sorry if that offends, just wanted to warn you. Nic964
My advice is its certainly possible. I'm a chemical engineer, and got my job through a recruitment agent here in Perth. Try searching for local recruitment agents in region, and try and get your CV registered with them. It depends (as allways) if your skills, but with 10 years post degree experience, then you should certainly try. I d'nt have specific names, but good old google is a start. There are also quite a few websites that you can look at, and upload your CV. Best of luck. Nick
JasonM
I would do a search for refrigeration and read some of the posts, i am also a refrigeration / air conditioning engineer and you will find that once in Perth you need to do additional courses for electrical and air conditioning qualifications before you can work. I have sent quiet a few companys my CV and the response is come and see us once you get out here. All the best on the job search.
d4dharmit
if you dont mind, could you pls give the details of the recruitment agent who supports in searching the job.
verystormy
Recruitment agents dont help you search. My advice is to look on seek.com.au and domain.com.au and register and speak to the agents advertising your line of work on there
