Hi all, I'm afraid I have double booked this with the only arrangement in our social calendar, we have a charity ball booked & paid for at the Casino on the 10th & had not checked the date. Can we delay this by a week until the May 17th, same time, same place. Hope this does not cause any inconvenience. I will try to private message those who had confirmed unless still go ahead and someone arrange. We will make sure we are definitely there on the 17th. cheers, Steve & Sue.

17th is fine for us too

We are in our mid 40's with 3 kids ages from 11 to 20 years old. Have been here for 8 years. But do miss having a social life. Would love to come down to the city for a few drinks and make some new friends. We are living in the ALkimos area.

Bugger.. Can't do the 17th either as it's FA cup final day and my beloved Ull are up to get spanked by Arsenal.

Anyone up for the following week maybe an earlier start though?

Hmmmmmm, good point, British pub, probably large screen TV' s & the FA cup final, will make for a very busy night, maybe not such a good day after all, Steve what do you think?

Just googled it http://www.thefa.com/thefacup/more/fa-cup-round-dates & Cup final kick off not until 17.00 BST so 02.00 on the 18th Perth time. I wouldn't expect it to affect the night so we're still happy to go as planned if others are, could make an earlier start say 7.30pm

If some are "preparing" for cup final also suggest a re run in say 2 weeks time !

Cheers, Steve.

Hi Deb

we are lucky enough to be able to choose as my sister has a rental in Kelmscott and Jenny,s step brother lives in Wannaroo but depending on timing my sister is looking to move further south to Dunsborough but we have had offers from both so at least we have somewhere to use as a base until we can find something of our own but not really decided on anywhere yet depends on what wages our jobs will provide lol

How bout you

Gaz

Yes all go for 7.30 on Sat 17th. I did try posting my mobile but it was removed and advised not allowed by the administrator. Unsure if this was the case with PM to Druid ? but suggest we congregate around entrance at this time (Beer garden entrance if weather fine or inside main door otherwise). For those getting train in - Family ticket ( around $11) allows 24hrs train travel for 2 adults & 3 or 4 kids for 24 hrs so also valid for a day out on Sunday! Anyway everyone welcome & see you there, Steve & Sue.
