nikkiwd
try contacting immi yourself, tell them that your case officer is not keeping you informed of progress. That is a very long time to be waiting for a 190 visa, ours took around 8 weeks from lodgement.

Hi casper I am in the same position as you but not had the long wait you have. I waited up last night till 11.30 to call my CO and managed to speak to someone else on the team. As you will know from reading other posts the quota for this year's allocation runs out at end June so they are only processing so many until then. I was told by email a month ago that mine may be granted before June but if not will be in next year's quota which starts 1st July. I was informed last night that the likelihood of my visa grant coming through by end June is unlikely. However, from 1st July they receive a full year's quota and they aim to process most of the outstanding ones from last year's quota by the end of July. They said the chance of my visa being granted by end July is highly likely. I imagine yours would be the same provided there are no outstanding documents or other issues. I hope this makes sense and that it has helped. I feel a bit more positive after speaking to them. I feel your pain and hope that we are both celebrating by the end of July. Good luck. I can see your and mine processing dates are quite similler but only difference is that you applied offshore and I applied onshore and you have granted visa in very short period of time but i am still on waiting. I have contacted them and received email and they made sure to process ASAP .... I dont know what is the meaning of ASAP in immi dictionary ... Thanks moss2oz your response gives me a hope, best of luck with your application nd hope u dont wait as i do .. But the most frustrating thing for me is that people applied after me have granted PR i have seen many post here and some other forums but i applied in mid August witch is nearly 1.5 months after the starting new financial year, if the QUOTA thing exists then i should be given visa in September or so .......... there is no other documents pending as i have mentioned in my emails to immi that "please let me know if there any other documents you required". I am going to call them now ....

Please advise me that did you submitted any job offers with your application for Schedule 2 Occupation? and how long did they took in processing your application? Awaiting your reply. Thanks.
