liliannn
Hello all !! May I ask what are the differences between professional reference and employment statement? Is that I need to provide both of them? I saw from ANMAC guideline for professional reference.. http://anmac.org.au/sites/default/fi...ce_example.pdf so I just need to follow the example..then would be accepted? I worked in a mixed ward before..so I should put 254499 Registered Nurse as the ANZCO code? Also, how do you contact your supervisor to do for you? you will send her a sample or just the template to let her fill in for you? I am in Perth now btw, if anyone is around here and doing the same thing as me, it will be good that we can meet up too. thanks a lot! Hopeful
I am in the UK but had some of the same questions I asked the appropriate referee where I currently work. I sent the template ANMAC provide to the referee and they completed the reference to detail the requested information. In relation to the ANZCO code you need to choose that which most closely matches your skills and experience. Be mindful though that if you have a job offer ensure the ANSCO code matches the Job title/ description. I applied to ANMAC under the mental health code which described most closely my skills and experience and then I was offered a job and I realised that I needed the healthcare manager ANZCO code which fell under VETASESS for assessment which meant two skills assessments! ali
It's a long time ago for me, but I got the statement of employment from HR, they indicated how long I'd been continuously employed in the NHS, how long I'd been employed with them and what my role, grade and salary was. My manager wrote a reference, detailing my skils and job description.

Thanks for your advices how about if I choose ANZCO code registered nurse with not elsewhere classified? so I could have more job options to choose? and that's really sorry to hear that you need to do two assessments, the whole system is quite confusing..and wastes a lot of money and time hope we will get all assessment done soon and start working ! I couldn't find any work now (
liliannn
Skilled 189 PR. You also seem to get more rights in oz on this visa. Hello Keeof, I barely only get 60 points for 189 Visa, I am scared I might be only given low priority..May I know how many points do you get and how long does it take to express of interest and get invited to lodge your applications? and did you get a migration agent to do that? I heard people said 190 Visa might be a faster choice? but is that we need to be get employed under this visa? thanks

Monday 12th May we got our CO assigned so we booked medical and sent police form off. So only a couple months really when we were expecting it to be about 12 months. Have you actually started the process apart from seeing what points you have. What do you do as that might be a factor in how long it may take. Guest Guest6235
Keefo more rights as opposed to what? To some of the other type of visa's apparently. My wife as main applicant can work in any job & not just the one we're getting the visa for, this is good to know just in case jobs are scarce or was to ever lose her job. Also if your child is of school age then you don't have to pay fees etc as you do with some other visa's. Also I THINK we could also claim from centrelink for benefits & I THINK we can claim $7500 a year child rebate from child care costs. I don't think these are issues you have to worry about. If I'm wrong I apologise & I stand corrected.
