Bibbs Posted May 15, 2014 Report Share Posted May 15, 2014 Good old Shocko .. Bogan isn't a Chav. Chavs are the tracksuit wearing, street corner, pond life. Usually swearing, spitting & fighting. Bogans are closer to the US redneck. Mullets, flanno (flannel shirts), AC/DC and doing burn outs in their utes. Also called Bog (in Perth in the 80s), or Feral. We also have "Cubs" here, "Cashed Up Bogan" .. they are the guys who raked it in during the boom by doing manual jobs in the mines.
