Chrissyhannah67
Hi folks, We are moving to perth in September and my son will be 9 months by then. He has been prescribed lactose free baby formula by the G.P. Will I be able to bring some of his formula over with me until registered with a G.P? If so how much formula are you allowed to bring into the country? thanks in advance amanda
Sideshowdeb
Hi Amanda, I don't know how much formula you'll be allowed to bring through customs, but I doubt you'll need the formula prescribed by a GP as I'm almost certain it won't be free like the UK. You may be best off checking out what is stocked at the pharmacies close to where you'll be staying, and maybe see if they could order what you need just before you arrive? Hopefully someone one who has travelled with a baby will be along soon to let you know how much you can take with you to keep you going. Good luck, Debs
Chrissyhannah67
Hi debs, thanks... I was thinking that I would be paying for it, although if prescribed may not be as expensive. You can't buy the milk my son is prescribed in the pharmacy in UK. Thanks, amanda
