roop
Hi all, As we are planning our move, there are many questions coming in our way. This is the great forum to ask the questions & seek the guidance of seniors. So here's come my 1st question I am trying to open NAB classic account but don't know how to answer these 2 questions- 1. Estimated annual income in Australia (AUD)? 2. Your address before arriving in Australia- I think this will be my current address but do they send anything on this address as right now we are in rented house. So should I give my current address or my parental house address. Thanks in advance. roop Edited May 17, 2014 by roop
Lou8670
Have a look at some jobs similar to what you do on Seek.com.au and see what salaries they are advertising and put that down.

SJT
Hi Roop We put the rental address we were living in at the time. We went with NAB and they never sent any paperwork via post, all instructions and information was sent via email. So easy to activate when you get here as well, they are already for when you arrive and have your temporary cards already when you go into the bank with your passports, they set the appointment up before you leave. Any more questions just ask.

SJT
Hi Cocolevi, Yep once we had our flights booked we then did it on line, took literally 5 mins at the most, they then come back with an apt time for after your arrival date, you do get to chose this date, then you just pop into the bank with your passport and other documentation they ask for and they then give you your temporary cards so you can get money out. Just remember any money you transfer into your new oz account can not be taken out until you have visited the branch in Perth. It is very simple. roop
Thanks SJT Just completed online account opening form. Now my second question is do we need notorized documents for rent & other purpose? Or original documents & bank statements are fine. Also one of my friend immigrated to syd in 2012 & he had had hepatitis & yellow fever vaccination. Is it compulsory to have these vaccinations? We have not received any info from CO regarding this. verystormy
Original documents for rental purposes are fine. No, you don't need those vaccinations unless you are coming from an area known to be a yellow fever area, in which case you will need yellow fever.
