portlaunay
For tonight for southern WA including Perth metro down to Rocko, Mandurah and as far south as Albany. 100kph winds and heavy rain including the possibility of flooding. Time to stack away the garden furniture and if you're driving please be careful - torrential rain can be really difficult to drive in, potential for aquaplaning and there may be fallen trees around. http://www.bom.gov.au/wa/warnings/severe.shtml Stay safe everyone

Oh but do I care no as I do not have to pay to get it fixed again. The joys of being in a rental .... happy days. If I was the owner I would definitely be looking to get another roofer to sort it out this time. The dog was not happy having to go pee in the rain silly thing why oh why she cant piddle on the patio is beyond me she has to have grass ....................... Cast iron? Maybe not as they would probably get nicked and sold on as scrap.

portlaunay
Well 0700 and it's still raining. The strong winds didn't materialise here, how did everyone else get on? I've just checked and the pond has overflowed so we must have had a lot of rain. The bamboo in my yard is looking spectacularly green but our dog is keeping a low profile as she knows it will soon be time for her to be cast out from her snuggly bed into the cold al-fresco. Lou8670
We had loads of rain Porty...it kept me awake most of the night! I assume there may be some flooding on the roads?!?
Nikkis2000
Lots of rain but no wind. I quite like the sound of the rain on the metal roof, but the insistent drip from the gutter onto the water heater got a bit annoying after three hours. Lots of traffic on the roads but no flooding on my route.
